Nathalie Molla

Nathalie was born in Annecy, in an artistic family where she was able to fully thrive in a creative environment. From a very young age, she combined her two passions: music and drawing. Her appetite for art led her first to Chambery in order to continue her studies in advertising graphic arts. Then, she was trained for decoration paintings in Avignon and Reims because she also finished her education is Beaux-Arts of Florence, in Italy. Now back in Haute-Savoie, this complete and enthusiastic painter shares her time between the development of her personal production. She teaches and animate of numerous workshops throughout France as an ambassador and technician of Beaux-Arts. For many years now, Nathalie has focused her pictorial research on the work of color which she likes to associate with various personal and impactful messages. Usually starting from a sketch previously executed on paper, the artist selects her medium according to the subject which she wishes to include in it. Thus, using her acrylics and inks — which she applies with either a brush or a knife — the painter endeavours to immortalize the celebrities who inspire her by their commitment and their art such as: the American painter Jean-Michel Basquiat, the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo or the musician Jimi Hendrix. Energetic and majestic, Nathalie’s portraits seamlessly blend many techniques to achieve a contemporary result between pop art and street art aesthetics.
